Dunhuang Airport is 13km east of the city. It has direct flights to and from Beijing Lanzhou, Xi'an, and other cities in high-season (May to October).
Train
Taking high-speed train from West Lanzhou Station to Dunhuang Station will cost you around 9 hours, from 12:09 to 20:47 (current schedule in December 2019, maybe updated). The price is CNY 324 (≈USD 46) for 2nd class and CNY 518 (≈USD 74)for 1st class.
